1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using The Trail Golf ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. The Trail Golf is operated by Ryan Edwards ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms govern your use of the App and any related services.

2. Eligibility

The Trail Golf is intended for users 18 years of age and older. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 18.

3. Subscription and Payment

Scoring your own rounds is free. A membership adds the social half of the app: live leaderboards, friends, and your crew's rounds alongside yours. • Monthly Plan: $6.99/month • Annual Plan: $69.99/year • Free Trial: 14 days (payment method required) The price shown in the App Store at the moment you subscribe is the price that applies. All subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you authorize Apple to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes. Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

4. Refund Policy

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly through the App Store. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases. Apple's standard refund policies apply.

5. Free Trial

New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged the applicable subscription price.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use The Trail Golf only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to: • Use the App for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or otherwise compromise the App or its servers • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm other users • Submit false or misleading golf scores • Share your account credentials with others

7. Text Message (SMS) Consent

The Trail Golf uses your phone number to sign you in. When you enter your phone number, you consent to receive an account verification code by text message (SMS). Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. These messages are required to use the App and are not marketing messages. If you do not wish to receive them, do not create an account. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Not Affiliated With The Villages

The Trail Golf is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Villages®, Holding Company of The Villages, Inc., or any of their affiliated entities. "The Villages" and related marks are registered trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the community where the App is intended to be used.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any golf data, scores, and content you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content to provide the App's features (such as leaderboards). We do not claim ownership of your data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE TRAIL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sumter County, Florida.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
